ATS statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

What we have seen unfold globally over the last four months has been surreal, both in its scope and its unpredictable nature.  The situation continues to evolve daily.  On Friday, March 20, 2020, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont issued an Executive Order requesting residents to “Stay Safe, Stay at Home.”  The Executive Order requires 100% of the non-essential workforce be kept at home for the period commencing March 23, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. through April 22, 2020. Further guidance issued by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development has indicated that manufacturing operations in Connecticut are considered essential as this time.

Accu-Time Systems, Inc. is committed to keeping our employees safe and to being socially responsible citizens in the communities in which we operate.  We have been working diligently to meet the needs of our customers while at the same time implementing policies and procedures in the best interest of our employees and their families.  Where possible, we have implemented work-from-home procedures.  Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, we will be reducing the staff in our Ellington, Connecticut factory to 50%.  This initiative will allow for greater social distancing amongst our employees and allow for deeper cleaning of our facilities. Any impacts to pending product orders will be communicated by your account representative. TimeCom will not be impacted by the staff reduction in our Ellington, Connecticut facilities.  Non-factory employees including technical support, software engineering, hardware engineering, sales, supply chain, finance and administrative support are working remotely where possible.

We are saddened to see so many of our friends and colleagues impacted by this pandemic.  We will do everything within our power to assist our employees and their families during this difficult time.  We are firmly committed to supporting our products and our partners.  If there is any assistance we can offer during this time, please contact our customer service team or your account representative.

Stay safe, stay positive.  We will get through this together.

Instructions on cleaning your terminal

To disinfect the biometric sensor and/or touchscreen on an ATS terminal, ATS recommends using a soft, micro-fiber cloth dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or similar non-abrasive, non-toxic, non-bleach disinfectant safe for LCD screens. Do not over-saturate the touchscreen or biometric sensor. Do NOT directly spray any liquids onto the terminals.
